Big enough for 2 UH-1's. The office was in the back. Looking at one of the aerial pics on the site it appears to still be there but now theres a steel hanger next to it. There was a SSG named "Greasy" (thats what everyone called him anyways) at the hangar directly across. He had worked on the fixed wing aircraft there for years. Hi Louis, Welcome to the 15th Med web site. Sounds like as of right now you are the oldest member of the 15th med. Most of us that are on here at the present was there in the early to late 80's. When I was there in 83 to 87 we had the metal hanger and then the admin building was built next to it on the gravel. Soounds like the barracks was still in about the same place though. Looking forward to seeing the pictures that you have of the place.

You were there when I got there, Maj Dunlap was still CO. We flew a few missions together before you left. Good to finally see someone who was there when I was.

Hi Louis Welcome to the 15th Med. web site. I posted a photo of some of the folks and some of them predate me and I got to the unit in 7'4-'75. Take a good look at it and you may see one or two people that were there when you got there. Have a look at all of the photos that I have posted.

I was a crew chief and that white tent hanger was better than any metal sided one that I ever worked in. It made a great photo studio too when there weren't a bunch of helicopters in there
