Hi Julie, Jeff you guys are looking really good. I just stumble into this site and I'm so blown away. Looking at all those pictures brought back a lot of beautiful memories. Grace and I have been living in San Antonio for the last nine years. We will dig up some Graf pictures and post them up.
Great to hear from you! Glad you are doing well. I just retired a couple of years ago after putting in 34. Still miss it. Its hard not too when you do the same thing for so long. We have stayed in the Graf apartment many times since then. We became real close to the landlord and they became like Grandparents to our daughter (we had 3 more tours in Germany and one in Holland). Herr Schillmeier passed away in 93, but we still are close to the Frau and the Son (Mike is a "Herr Professor" at the University of Munich and go back periodically to visit them.
My husband is CW3 (Ret) Dominic Van Horn - black hawk pilot. At Ft. Rucker in 1986-87. Flew Blackhawks in BK Germany, Ft Hood, Texas, Honduras, Korea , Hawaii, and Ft Carson, Co. Just in case any of you may know him. He listens and laughs at all of the stories I have written about the 15th. :)
Hello Julie good to hear from you. I had lost track of a lot of folks from the 15th Med when we broke up and went our seperate ways. Welcome to the site look forward from hearing from you in the future.
