Who would have thought that an approach plate would bring back so many memories! Like the flight Bruce Miner and I had from Graf to Nurnberg late one night when we had to climb to and remain at 12,000 ft because of icing. We were eventually cleared for the approach, but then found ourselves over the outer marker at.....8,000 ft, in IMC! I won't tell you what rate of descent we had to obtain to reestablish the glide slope!!!!!
