the first name is Hector. This is us washing 551. It was your favorite acft! Do you remember flying the Hohenfels bomb explosion and the transplant organs. Man that was two events that I will always remember...

Hector! That's right! Thanks! Hohenfels was always a lot of fun. I don't think I was on the bomb explosion....wasn't that when a training EOD thing went haywire and turned into a mass-cal? I think I just heard about it..... But, I do remember a great one at Hohenfels: a tank drove across a "puddle" that was actually a 10-ft deep pond and sunk. We happened to be out training and were able to respond within about 2 minutes. We arrived on scene to see only the vehicle's antenna sticking out of the water. Other tank crews were on scene trying to get the crew members out. We did CPR on 2 or three of them, transporting each one as they were extricated. I think a few made it. That was always a fun deployment. Were you with me when we came to a high hover over the south tank trail gate to show our ID cards to the gate guard? :-)

The name was SGT Hector Rosario he went to Flight Medic School with me.
